On the 4th of July Polly gave birth to 12 puppies. Unfortunately 2 were too weak to find their safe way into the world, but the remaining 10 are more than we hoped to get !
We have weights from 370 to 500 grams and everybody is
"alive and kicking".

5 Boys with colour marks of red, brown, black, green and orange
5 Girls with colour marks of blue, violet, yellow, white and lightblue

The puppies now weigh around 700 grams. Slowly but surely life is coming to the whelping box. It will take just a few days and they all will have their eyes open and get on their feet. Branson, the only one who is accepted at the moment near the box, enjoys beeing the "guardian angel of the puppies".

   

Ludwig enjoys cuddling up to the puppies once in a while.
They really find odd positions for sleeping. I just wonder weather this also is comfortable ?!?!?
