...und nun einige Worte zum Nachdenken. Ich habe diese Zeilen von
einer ganz lieben Freundin bekommen. "Sich Zeit zu nehmen" - das ist glaube ich
heutzutage gar nicht so einfach!

Das nun folgende Gedicht habe ich selbst geschrieben.
 Eigentlich wollte ich ein Gedicht in deutscher Sprache ins Englische übersetzen,
 aber irgendwie kamen meine amerikanischen Wurzeln hervor
 und so fiel es mir leichter gleich ein eigenes in Englisch zu schreiben:

Honour to my Dog

During several years your dog
 will gather lot’s of  hearts,
owing to his lovely manner.
 
Never you’ll regret your choice,
always happy that he’s here.
  
 Stormy weather, days full sunshine,
always friendly, never vicious.
That’s the way your golden feels!

Wagging tail, dark sparkling eyes,
a smile on his face,
 always try to say us:
 “ Thank you - for this marv’lous time.”
This will give you joy, throughout your life!
